HYANNIS, Mass. -- Puritan Clothing Co. has purchased Malchman's, a women's and men's wear store in Falmouth, Mass., from Eleanor Malchman Smith, for an undisclosed sum.
The unit becomes Puritan's eighth, and its first in the Falmouth market.
Smith will continue as owner of the property.
In addition to a name change, the store will be remodeled and the merchandise mix coverted to be more in line with Puritan's other stores. Men's tailored clothing, boys' wear, active sportswear and men's and women's shoes will be added, as well …
